  1. Akshay Kumar: Rajeev Bhatia, popularly known as Akshay Kumar, had no godfather in the Bollywood industry. His father was a government servant and he worked as a waiter in Bangkok and returned to India as a trained martial art professional. Later, he tried his luck in modelling and emerged as the Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood and the rest is history.

 

  1. Ranveer Singh: This powerhouse of energy comes from a non-filmy background. He himself had absolutely no idea that he would make it this big. He started his career as a copywriter for ad agencies and also assisted director Shaad Ali in various advertising projects. He began his career with TV and worked in serials like Bharat ek khoj and Banegi apni baat. In the year 1988, he did his first Bollywood movie titled Salaam Bombay. He has also acted in Hollywood movies like A Mighty Heart. In the year 2012, he bagged a National award for Paan Singh Tomar. Recently, the actor died due to cancer and left his fans in great distress.
